Short Itinerary

Day 1: Land at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu

Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara (910m/2985ft) time: 6 hours

Day 3: Drive to Nayapul and hike to Tikhe Dhunga (1495m/4905ft) length: 4 hours

Day 4: Tikhe Dhunga to Ghorepani (2850m/9348ft) period: 7 hours

Day 5: Hike to Poonhill (3180m/10430ft), Trek to Tadapani (2500m/8200ft) length: 6-7 hours

Day 6: Tadapani to Chhomrong (2020m/6625ft) period: 5 hours

Day 7: Chhomrong to Dovan (2600m/8528ft) length: 5 hours

Day 8: Dovan to Deurali (3200m/10500ft) Duration: 4 hours

Day 9: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4210m/13810ft) Duration: 5 hours

Day 10: Annapurna Base Camp Bamboo (2310m/7575ft) Duration: 7 hours

Day 11: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda hot spring (1780m/5840ft) Duration: 6 hours

Day 12: Jhinu Danda to Pokhara (910m/2985ft) Duration: 5-hour walk

Day 1: Land at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu

We will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Along the way, we will give a brief introduction to our plans.

Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara (910m/2985ft) time: 6 hours

Our representatives will pick you up early at 6:30 am and guide you to the bus station. It will be a scenic ride to Pokhara and if we get to the beautiful lake-side city with enough daylight hours left, we can fill your leisure time with a boating excursion on the Phewa Lake and an introductory hike to the World Peace Pagoda with stunning views out to the mountains you are about to be encircled by on the trek.

Day 3: Drive to Nayapul and hike to Tikhe Dhunga (1495m/4905ft) length: 4 hours

After breakfast, we drive to Nayapul for about an hour via Lumle village. After this, we will have a short walk to the hustling town of Birethanti. We will pass through bamboo forest and see many large waterfalls. The track will continue till Ranghai and from here we will climb all the way to Tikhe Dhunga.

Day 4: Tikhe Dhunga to Ghorepani (2850m/9348ft) period: 7 hours

Today we make a long steep incline of 1350m to reach our destination – it is a tough 3000 or so steps up. We will pass through Large Magar Village, Ulleri(2080m). We will then cross two streams and arrive at Nagethanti. From Nangethanti we will hike to Ghorepani with the altitude of 2850m. The views along the way of Mt. Dhaulagiri(8167m), The Tukuche Nilgiri(6940m), Hiunchuli(6441m) and the Tarke Kang, will make today well-worth the climb.

Day 5: Hike to Poonhill (3180m/10430ft), Trek to Tadapani (2500m/8200ft) length: 6-7 hours

To get the best view at Poon Hill we will begin walking early in the morning. We will reach the viewing platform at sunrise to see Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna Mountains in all their glory. After this excursion, we will return to Ghorepani for breakfast and then make our way to Tadapani.

Day 6: Tadapani to Chhomrong (2020m/6625ft) period: 5 hours

Today we will descend down a steep track through the forest from Tadapani. We will sleep in the Gurung village of Chhomrong.

Day 7: Chhomrong to Dovan (2600m/8528ft) length: 5 hours

The Chhomrong Khola will lead us the way as we climb up to Khuldigahar (2380m). The Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) is located at Khuldighar and from here our track heads down to Dovan.

Day 8: Dovan to Deurali (3200m/10500ft) Duration: 4 hours

We will pass through Rhododendron bamboo forest to Hinko (3020m) and then settle at Deurali for the night.

Day 9: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4210m/13810ft) Duration: 5 hours

Our journey to the Annapurna base camp will be spectacular with monumental mountain views.

Day 10: Annapurna Base Camp Bamboo (2310m/7575ft) Duration: 7 hours

We will descend 1700m today to Modi Khola and then to Bamboo.

Day 11: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda hot spring (1780m/5840ft) Duration: 6 hours

Our hike will go through Chhomrong, passing the sheep farms at Khuldighar. Our journey will then pass Rhododendron forest before reaching the Jhinu Hot springs after about 6 hours of walk. We can relax in the natural hot spring and revive our muscles ready for the final day of walking ahead.

Day 12: Jhinu Danda to Pokhara (910m/2985ft) Duration: 5-hour walk

We will take off from Jhinu hot springs and walk via the Modi Khola Bank up to Birethanti. We will be surrounded by nature – the noise of the powerful river below and many species of birds, and the lush green of the cloud forest.

Dinner and Cultural show included in Pokhara.

Day 13: Drive Pokhara to Kathmandu

Day 14: Farewell

We will take you to the airport and your tour will end here.
