Lobuche Peak is well known for two different summits, East Peak (6,119 m) and west peak (6,145 m). The East Peak is acknowledged as a trekking peak, while other for Expedition Peak. When we climb to the southern Base Camp at an altitude of 5500 meters, we will have excellent views of Ama Dablam (6812m, 22349ft), Tawache peak and many more spectacular mountains. This outstanding trek has an exploration of Kala Pathar elevation (5550m) and Everest Base Camp (5360m). Further expansion has fantastic ridge overlooking to the amazing Louche and Khumbu glacier. Louche Peak climbing offers a great opportunity for you, and it will always be memorable. You will be in the good physique before and after a climb. We have well trained, experienced and mature attendant to assist you all the way to the summit.

Day 1: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley visiting the attractions

Day 3: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652m/8699ft) Duration: 3 hours

Day 4: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11283ft) length: 6 hours

Day 5: Namche Bazar and Everest View Hotel

Day 6: Namche to Dole (4200m/13776ft) length: 5 hrs

Day 7: Dole to Machhermo (4400m/14432ft) length: 5 hrs

Day 8: Machhermo to Gokyo Lake (4700m/15416ft) Duration: 4 hrs

Day 9: Trek to Gokyo RI (5360m/17880ft) length: 4 hrs

Day 10: Trek to Thangna (4700m/15416ft) length 2-3 hrs

Day 11: Cross Cho La pass (5420/1780ft) then trek to Dzongla (4830m/15842ft) length: 7 -8 hrs.

Day 12: Trek to Lobuche (4910m/16105ft) length: 4 hrs

Day 13: Hike to Everest Base Camp (5364m/17594ft) & back to Gorekshep (5181m/16994ft) length: 8 hours

Day 14: Climbing to Kalapattar (5545m/18187ft) – Gorekshep – Dingboche (4410m/14464ft) 7 hours

Day 15: Dingboche to Island Peak Base Camp (5240m/17187ft) Duration: 6 hours

Day 16: Island Peak Base Camp to summit Peak (6189m/20300ft) and back to Chhukung 10 – 11 hours

Day 17: Reserve day for contingency

Day 18: Trek to Namche (3440m/11283ft) length: 7 hours

Day 19: Trek to Lukla (2800m/9184ft) length: 7 hours

Day 20: Fly back to Kathmandu

Day 1: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu.

We receive you from airport and escort to the hotel. On the way, we will have a short description of the package.

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley visiting the attractions.

Kathmandu Valley World Heritage sites sightseeing: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa.

Day 3: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652m/8699ft) Duration: 3 hours.

Fly to Lukla early in the morning. After reaching Lukla, Trek to Phakding. We will have beautiful sightseeing of green landscapes with the glimpse of Kusum valley on our way.

Day 4: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11283ft) length: 6 hours.

We walk along Dudh Koshi, ascend through Himalayan pine, cedar forests. Namche Bazaar is a historical trading post for Nepalese and Tibetan. Traders use to exchange salt, dried meat, and textiles. Namche attracts Himalayan and lowland merchants. We rest for two days in Namche for acclimatization, explore local cultures, visit a local market. We also catch glimpse of Everest and neighboring peaks.

Day 5: Namche Bazar and Everest View Hotel.

We march to Syangboche Airport (3700m), highest airport in the world and continue our trail to Everest View Hotel. From Everest View hotel we have a magnificent view of the Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Tawache and much other.  We trace back to visit Sherpa culture Museum and Everest photo Gallery.

Day 6: Namche to Dole (4200m/13776ft) length: 5 hrs.

We follow an easy trail up to Kyangjuma and amp; mount up steeply through rhododendron forests, juniper and large conifers with an increase in elevation. In the springtime, a rhododendron bloom and makes the whole trail beautifully decorated. Many Kharkas, summer settlements, Sherpa bringing herds of yaks passes on our way. Our path goes through settlements of Tongba (3950m), Gyele (3960m) to Dole with few hotels. The incredible view of Khhumbila and Tawache (6542m) passes across throughout the day.

Day 7: Dole to Machhermo (4400m/14432ft) length: 5 hrs.

Our journey climbs to Lambara (4220m) and Luza (4360m) encountering brush junipers and Kharkas.  We climb up along the side of the valley, crossing sandy spurs to Machhermo (4410m), high above the river. In 1974, Yeti killed three Yaks and attached a Sherpa woman and this is the most influential yeti report.

Day 8: Machhermo to Gokyo Lake (4700m/15416ft) Duration: 4 hrs.

We mount to the ridge for an excellent view of down valley Kantega and up towards Cho Oyu (8201m) The valley expand as the path passes through Pangka (4390m) then slide down to riverbank before commencing climb on the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpa glacier. The trail is vertical up to the moraine and then first small lake switches at (4650m), a family of green Brainy ducks resides in the lake.

Day 9: Trek to Gokyo RI (5360m/17880ft) length: 4 hrs.

We wake up early and climb up to Gokyo Ri for an astonishing view of Mahalangur Himalayan range, of Cho-Oyu, Everest, Gyachung Kang, Lhotse, Cholatse, Makalu and Tawache & amp. We also have Nepal largest glacier Ngozumpa.

Day 10: Trek to Thangna (4700m/15416ft) length 2-3 hrs.

We trek to the foot of Cho La pass.

Day 11: Cross Cho La pass (5420/1780ft) then trek to Dzongla (4830m/15842ft) length: 7 -8 hrs.

Our journey must not be affected by weathers. So, early at 4-5 am, we trek to reach the pass by 9-10 am.  If we get late we could be affected by the strong wind of altitude above 5300m. We might encounter challenge and problems due to altitude and snow. At the summit beautiful mountains reward us then we descend to the Dzongla at noon.

Day 12: Trek to Lobuche (4910m/16105ft) length: 4 hrs.

We will have an easy and short trail to Lobuche.

Day 13: Hike to Everest Base Camp (5364m/17594ft) & back to Gorekshep (5181m/16994ft) length: 8 hours.

We will have short climb through meadows. We will see Khumbu glacier and Kalapattar straight ahead of us. This is the best standpoint to view the south face of Mt. Everest and nearby peaks. A couple hours hike will take to Gorekshep and then we continue to Everest base camp. This journey could be exhausting as there are lots of ups and downs. After 3 hours of hiking, we are at base camp and have ourselves with a beautiful view of the Khumbu glacier and icefall. The Everest expedition begins from here.

Day 14: Climbing to Kalapattar (5545m/18187ft) – Gorekshep – Dingboche (4410m/14464ft) 7 hours.

Our day begins with a hike to Kalapattar (5545m). We observe the excellent view of Mt. Everest. After, we trek back to Gorekshep for breakfast then downfall to Dingboche (4410m).

Day 15: Dingboche to Island Peak Base Camp (5240m/17187ft) Duration: 6 hours.

We continue to the Imja valley with a grand glimpse of Ama Dablam magnifying the skyline. We shall then flow from Lhotse (8501m) to flats sands at Pareshaya Gyab at mid-afternoon. Our two day is reserved for a tented camp. Our professional cook will help you with delicious food. We will have pre-climb training from our expertise using all the necessary equipment like climbing gears such as ice axe, climbing boot, and crampons. This will helps to boost confidence and attend some climbing skills.

Day 16: Island Peak Base Camp to summit Peak (6189m/20300ft) and back to Chhukung 10 – 11 hours.

We start early morning towards Island Peak Ascent (6189m). We will begin from the rock gully to the ridgeline that leads to an exciting traverse on the nose of the summit glacier. We will use rope in the several crevasses and the guides will fix rope in the necessary fields. After reaching onto the summit ridge, we will enjoy summit views, take some pictures and moment later we descend to Dingboche for overnight.

Day 17: Reserve day for contingency.

This day is reserved for the case of unfavorable weather and climate. If the weather conditions and acclimatizing problems occur on the 16th day of our journey, we will reschedule our hike on the 17th day.

Day 18: Trek to Namche (3440m/11283ft) length: 7 hours.

We march towards Namche passing through various towns: Orsho, Somare, PAngboche, Tengboche, Pungki Thanka and Kyangjuma.

Day 19: Trek to Lukla (2800m/9184ft) length: 7 hours.

Our trek continues along the Dudh Koshi River and eventually, we will be at small mountain airstrip at Lukla.

Day 20: Fly back to Kathmandu.

We take a flight to Kathmandu, 30 minutes flight.
